RASP is a tool designed to capture requirements and output them to Microsoft
Word in a format that the document can be immediately sent to a customer without
modifications.

Administration program creates projects and sets the valid values
for Requirement Type, Importance, Source of Requirement, Status, Test
Methods, Release due in, Risk Level and the Word Style to use when
generating the export document. |

Information about the document can be entered and is available for
use within the exported document. |

Change history for the document can be entered and is available as a
section within the exported document. |

Distribution for the document can be entered and is available for
use within the exported document. |

The details of the requirement can be recorded, including values for
each of the items set by the administrator as well as cost and effort.
If the "clarification required" is set a report will extract the
requirement text and the comments ready to distribute to the client for
clarification. |

Traceability to other documents within the project can be provided.

All changes are automatically recorded so that it can be seen when a

The sections to output and the order to output them is controlled
from the export dialog. The template used to export the document uses
bookmarks and field codes to obtain information from the document/
project and to format the document as required. |
